Surely you can't be busy, you're on Twitter all day!

14th February 2010

Now then, what an interesting few weeks. Lots of stuff going on at the minute here at MJR Web, with 2 new eCommerce projects, and 2 new client website builds well under way, it's been busy to say the least.

One big project we are working on at the moment is Copify which has had a fantastic launch. A few copywriters from accross the UK (mainly the top 5% who have a vice-like grip on the majority of the premium work) have been throwing all manner of abuse towards Copify which is to be expected, Copify could possibly be the competitor to really shake things up.

Being the Northern, mostly un-educated chap as I am, I tend to find some of the cry babies involved slightly pompus and irratating, I doubt they are the kind of people I would like to banter with over a pint of Hydes, and they probably wouldn't want me to gatecrash one of thier tea parties, or Pimms meetings (or whatever these people do) either.

Silly CastleMost have adopted the defense of "honest, im not worried about Copify, really, no really not at all, couldn't care less" - after having just written a 1200 word blog post moaning about how, basically, Copify is so competitvely priced.

This has made us very happy indeed - we know we are on to a good thing with Copify if it provokes this kind of reaction. Needless to say we had a few drinks this week to celebrate the 10,000+ words, written by professional copywriters, about Copify. Thanks!

Last weekend I was up near Stirling, and was reading all the latest scandal on Twitter from no other than Doune Castle (made famous by Monty Pythons "The Holy Grail") on the old' iPhone, chuckling to myself in an outragoeus French accent. Here are some of my favourites from the last few days, bless em;

Alconcalcia:
"Copywriters everywhere,we march on Lancaster tonight.Who's in?(weather permitting & the forecast ain't great.Maybe best forget about Copify)"

AlistairWoolham: "@copify i heard spotify will set thier team of bears on you"

msbaroque: "Rob’s grammar is terrible"

and one last one that sum's up how well it's going....

mosscopywriting: "I post one neutral tweet about #copify and get 5 new copywriters following me. Sweet!"

Louis Harwood

This last few days Louis has been putting the finishing touches together on a new iPhone app which we would tell you about, but its secret, so we would then have to kill you which should be on the App Store very soon, here's Louis hard at work.

Note the "iHorn" in the corner (still in beta). Stay tuned.
